Despite the fact that it is now not as warm as a planet , the distant object dubbed WISE J0304 2705, may have spent the better element of its youth as a searing -hot, roiling star, lighting up the Universe! At present, the temperature of J0304-2705 is a just 100-150 degrees Celsius, which is somewhere between that of the Earth and Venus. Even though its temperature is not much warmer than that of our own rocky planet, J0304-2705 is most likely not rugged at all, but is rather an enormous ball of gas similar to our own Solar System's gas-giant Jupiter.

Stars And Planets Are Born!

All stars are born when a heavy, dense pocket of substance embedded within the close folds of a giant, billowing, freezing, and dark interstellar molecular cloud, collapses beneath gravitation being squeezed by the merciless and strong weight of its own. Such enormous clouds, dust and composed of gas, haunt our Milky Way Galaxy in huge amounts, swirling ghostlike although Space. These floating clouds will be the peculiar, cold cradles of infant stars. Things must get very chilly to get a hot baby star to sparkle its way to existence, although it may seem counterintuitive.

Our own Solar System came to be about 4.56 billion years past in substantially the same manner as other similar systems inhabiting our Milky Way Galaxy--it appeared when a comparatively small, but quite dense pocket, embedded within a floating, dim, frigid molecular cloud, failed under the heavy weight of its own gravity. As the modest, roiling pocket failed to give birth to the essential parent Star--our Sun---it also created the relic, swirling protoplanetary accretion disc, a churning sea of dust and gas, that rotated around our infant Sun. Eventually, the eight major planets of our Sun's bewitching family appeared from this whirling disk.

Jupiter is the biggest planet inhabiting our Solar System-- it is as big as a gas giant to be, and still be a planet will be permitted by Nature! Jupiter is approximately 90% hydrogen and 10% helium, with relatively scanty amounts of rugged material, methane, and water added to the mysterious brew. If any more stuff were bestowed upon this gaseous, colossal planet, it might be hugged in tightly and mercilessly by the force of gravitation--while Jupiter's whole radius would increase only marginally. An internal heat source is born by a star, although a star can grow to be greatly larger than Jupiter. Jupiter would need to grow about 80 times more massive in order to attain stardom that is accurate!

But when Jupiter was born, it twinkled just just like star and a little star-- it might have become! The power spewed out by somersaulting substance rendered the interior of the gigantic, gaseous planet incredibly hot. Actually , the larger Jupiter grew, the hotter it become.

Jupiter would have gone on shrink and to grow drastically in temperature --until its fires that were stellar lit, if it had been born greatly heftier than it was.
